Christmas - Take 2
After we opened the gifts from Santa, we went to Grandma Aitken's to open gifts. Kaitlyn stayed in her PJ's because it seemed like that kind of day.

Christmas Morning - Santa!
Christmas Eve
Kaitlyn has turned into such a ham. She poses for pictures when she sees the camera. It cracks me up!
Uncle Scott and Russell came to town and came over to see Kaitlyn. We ate lunch, hung out, and she got to open some presents! She wasn't that interested in opening the presents up this year but she did enjoy the boxes and the bows too!
She got a Princess Car from Uncle Scott and Russell. After me and Russell put it together (and man, was that a task!) she got to go for a spin around the kitchen.
And in the evening, we got dressed to go to Grandma Aitken's house for her annual Christmas Eve party. Kaitlyn looked really cute in her outfit. Too bad we didn't get more pictures of her in it. She enjoyed the party but we were exhausted chasing her around. She insisted on crawling under everyone's feet. Needless to say, we were semi-relieved when it was bedtime. We put her to bed there and went and got her when it was time to go home. That went remarkably well! She went right back to bed when we got home.
First Trip to Six Flags
We started off our fun filled Christmas holidays with Kaitlyn's first trip to Fiesta Texas on the night before Christmas Eve. It was a little cold, so we had her bundled up in her mittens. A nice side benefit of the mittens is that she could crawl on the ground and not get dirty!

Kaitlyn visits Santa
Last week we took Kaitlyn to visit Santa at Rackspace. It was a nice little set-up. And a pretty good Santa! We weren't sure how she would react. She really doesn't get too anxious around strangers, but I can't say we've ever handed her over to a large man in a red suit. At first, she was OK:

But then she decided she didn't want to be there anymore.
But doesn't it almost look like she is laughing? Santa doesn't look very comfortable...

Christmas card photo rejects
Eric and I decided to try and do our own photo session to try and find a photo worthy of the Christmas card. So we dressed Kaitlyn up in her Christmas outfit and headed outside. I'm not going to share the photo that we put on the card yet - not everyone has got their cards! But here are some of the one's we didn't use:
