Bowling

Last Sunday it was raining so we decided to take the girls bowling.  It had been awhile since we have bowled as a family.

Hailey was surprisingly good and really enjoyed it.

Fun with the Case's

We had the Case's over for dinner last Friday after we all spent some time at the pool.  

We played on the porch a bit and the temperature dropped.  This girl said she was cold and needed a jacket.  Silly girl!

  

The next night we went over to the Case's house.  The girls always love to go there and play with their friends and some different toys.

Friday at the Park

I'm off work again so the girls stayed home with me one day and we played.  We went to the park in the morning before it got too hot.  

Can you see Kaitlyn through there?  She is on this exercise machine they have by the playground. I was surprised that she was able to do it.

Then we went to McDonald's for some playtime and lunch. It was a great day.

Gymnastics

Kaitlyn really enjoyed her Kinetic Kids gymnastics class this summer.  She loved wearing the leotards.

And she made a new friend Madeline.  They were so cute together.

And I was continually amazed at her trying everything.  Look at her trying to do a back bend.

This was her at home right before her finale performance.

The kids got to walk in and say their name using a microphone.  That was a hit!  Standing with the kids are the aides.

She was so excited to show off what she learned!  Here she was getting ready for her vault.

She really enjoyed gymnastics so we have signed her up for a class that is closer to our house!  We'll see if she continues to enjoy it!

July Memories

A few years ago Grandma gave us this photo blanket.  We realized that Hailey was wearing the same shirt as Kaitlyn was in one of the photos!

We took the girls to Cover 3 the Saturday of the July 4th weekend.  That is our date night location and the bartenders know us.  So it was kinda fun for them to get to see the girls.  And it was nice that the girls behaved well at somewhere that wasn't one of our usual haunts.

After eating the girls wanted to check out the patio.

And look at the two cutie fishes swimming at the neighborhood pool one weekend!  We got lots of swimming done in July.

We got to hang out across the street with the Hartofelis's on the 4th.  Look at this brave girl.  Mom was not a fan!

And mom and dad got to head to Vegas for a long weekend in early July.  For the first time we both did well gambling!

We went to Shelley's housewarming party.  The girls had just been to her house the week before (when we were in Vegas) so they were right at home!

And they love Shelley's dogs, Jeter and Lily.

After that, we met the Case's and the Herrera's at the Horse Race Track!  I have lived in San Antonio for 12 years and had never been.  And you know I love gambling!  It was super hot but it was fun watching the races.  Here is Hailey posing by the stables.

Oh, and Minnie wanted to go for a ride in the cart with us at HEB.

Eric went to the UK for work, so one afternoon the girls and I went to see "The Secret Life of Pets" at the movie theater.  We all loved the movie but mom definitely learned the hard way not to let them have too much to drink!  We got up 3 times to go to the bathroom!

And here are the girls in my car one night after work.  I love that these 2 get to grow up together.

Oh and Hailey pulled out her footy pajamas while Eric was in the UK... In July!  And she had never really been into footy pajamas.  We had all of these pairs because Kaitlyn liked to wear them a lot when she was little.  But when Kaitlyn was a baby they never really fit her right.  Well so Hailey decided to pull some out, which made Kaitlyn want some too.  So this momma scoured the Internet looking for some non-fleece footy pajamas in Kaitlyn's size.  I expedited the shipping (shh, I know I'm a sucker).
