Christmas!

The girls slept super late on Christmas.  In fact, Kaitlyn was up first and didn't even wake us.  But when we got up and started opening presents, she sure was excited!

We got the girls strollers to go with the dolls Grandma bought them.  But at this point they hadn't gotten the dolls.  Kaitlyn found some Hello Kitties to tote around!

And Hailey enjoyed it too. Man, look at that hair!

Hailey has gotten GREAT at ripping the paper off of the presents.

And wow, look at that smile - this was a Hello Kitty apron to go with the kitchen we got her!

But I must say that this might have been the most popular gift.  It was just a bath set that had Hello Kitty sponges.  But she has been carrying them around with her ever since!

After opening presents they went outside to show some love to the characters.

After Hailey's nap we headed to Grandma's to open presents.  It was a great Christmas!

Morgan's Wonderland

The day before Christmas Eve we went to Morgan's Wonderland to visit Santa.  We waited until the last minute so the weather wasn't great but we went anyway.  It was really cold!  The girls didn't seem too affected by the weather and ran around a ton on the playground.  Such smiles!

Hailey has no fear!  She loved playing on the slides with Kaitlyn.

Here the kids are waiting in line to see Santa.  "Mommy, is that Santa?"

Santa didn't work out quite like we had hoped.  Hailey freaked out and ran.  She was so upset and I couldn't bear to force her to be in the photo.  Kaitlyn wasn't too keen on sitting on his lap either but was happy to see him.  I think Eric was hoping to get her between him and Santa.  Oh well, it makes for funny memories!

Afterwards we went on the carousel.  We limited them to 2 rides because Kaitlyn would ride for days!

Hailey enjoyed it but was a little timid.  She held on tight!

We will have to make another trip next year.  Maybe when it is a little warmer!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

The girls are loving Christmas - all the lights and decorations!  It is so much fun watching them get so excited!  Here are some pics from right after we put the tree up.  Hailey has been so interested in the ornaments.

And they are loving the musical snowmen.  Here they were playing the Frosty over and over and just giggling!

Hailey has been cuddling up with things and tucking herself in.  This time she chose to use some stuffed animals to hide in.  Such a cutie

The babysitter, Miss Shelley, made the girls tutus.  She is so good to the girls and they are loving their tutus.

We have gotten to spend a lot of time with Aria and Kinzie - Kaitlyn loves playing with their toys and I must say that for the most part she plays nicely.

Here they are at Grandma's.  They were each playing with a snowman.

Hailey is enjoying having a blanket with her in bed.  She likes to bring it downstairs too!  Loves her some Minnie Mouse

And Kaitlyn has been really into coloring these days.  She has gotten much better at it too.

The Saturday before Christmas Kaitlyn got to bake gingerbread cookies with Grandma.  She did a really good job and I think Grandma had a good time too!

The next day we did some cookie decorating at our house.  Hailey got to decorate gingerbread men with Karen, Jenny and their mom, Kathy.  She did a really good job and really enjoyed it.  It kept her entertained for a long time!  She enjoyed sneaking some tastes of sprinkles!

Meanwhile Kaitlyn and I worked on chocolate covered pretzels. I would dip and she would decorate.  She was very precise in her decorating.  She preferred to decorate spinkle by sprinkle!

Christmas Lights

These girls love Christmas and the characters we have in the front yard.  These pics were from the first night that we put them up.  Super excited!

November Pics

Last year Kaitlyn would only wear Hello Kitty jackets so this year I made sure to buy a really heavy Hello Kitty coat.  She looks super cute in it!

And this was her school photo.  I was thinking it was a candidate for re-takes but decided we had to keep it because it is kinda cute.  Chill Out!

And this is poor Hailey who conked out one day in the car on the way home from Rainbow.

Kaitlyn's well visit.

"Mama's phone?"

And this was at Kaitlyn's eye appointment.  She loves the fishies!

Over Thanksgiving we went to the zoo with Logan.  The girls love the animals!
