Another Tooth

The Tooth Fairy is going to go bankrupt!

Gymnastics

Kaitlyn is doing Gymnastics with Kinetic Kids. She loves it!  It is at 6pm on Wednesdays and isn't close to home.  So that is a drag.  But we figured this was the best way to see if she would really be interested in it.  And the short answer is, YES!

Balance isn't her forte but she likes to get up on the balance beam:

And look at this girl salute!  I can't wait for the Olympics on TV this summer.  She is going to love watching.

Dentist Success!

Eric did a solo trip to the dentist with the girls and had amazing success!  I think the pictures speak for themselves:

Apparently the only thing they wouldn't tolerate was X-rays.  But I am super excited that we finally got the girls to tolerate a cleaning and that we didn't have to hold them down!

Annual Port A Vacay

We went to Port A for our annual summer vacation in late June.  Karen, Brentton and their girls went with us again.  I love to see these girls look so comfortable and at home.

And of course we had to get some selfies in the golf cart.

The girls are more interested in building sand castles these days.  And they are getting better at it!

The ocean looked pretty great this trip!

Kaitlyn showing her sand castle building skills.

Ta da!

Look at the cute towel from Grandma!

Hailey and I went for a solo golf cart trip on the one night.  I remember Kaitlyn also really liked doing that at her age.  It was nice to have some alone time.  (I couldn't find my glasses so had to borrow Eric's)

And of course we had to get snow cones and listen to music on the lawn!

There were moments when the girls all just clicked!  That was awesome.

And the last night we went and watched the movie on the lawn for a little bit.  Look at Hailey with Aria and Kinzie!  And her hair looked really good - no frizz.

We failed and didn't take any family pictures.  But at least I got one with the girls.

I can't wait until the next trip!

Chuck E Cheese on a Tuesday

One Tuesday night I offered to take the girls to Chuck E. Cheese after work so Kaitlyn could spend her Tooth Fairy money.  I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was there.  It was totally do-able!  And the girls are getting older so I felt a little more comfortable just sitting at the table.  The girls would take one coin, go play the game and come back for another coin!  It was a great way to keep track of them.

They really liked the machines that took photos of them!

All in all a good experience.  I should do it again!

June Picture Dump

I love this girl's cheesy smile that shows off all of her missing teeth!

More pool fun at our neighborhood pool.

1, 2, 3, jump!

Hailey took this picture of Kaitlyn while we were out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Hailey decided that she needed to wear her helmet one day... To get in the car... Is my driving that bad?  Lol.

Be still my heart - the sweetness!

First Dance Recital

Hailey had her first dance recital in June.  I really enjoyed fixing her hair and putting a little makeup on for her.  I was a little intimidated and felt totally out of my element (Dance Mom!).  But you can tell she really loved it!

The picture quality isn't great, but OMG!  How cute is this kid?  They danced to Love the Way by Ariana Grande.  I must say that my expectations were pretty low.  She only goes to class once a week at Rainbow.  And all of the other groups were daycare groups too.  All of the kids spent most of the song looking at the teacher who was off to the side doing the moves.  But Hailey did pretty good!

Congratulatory hugs from Grandma after the show!

And surprise, a visit from the princesses!

This was the best smile we could get from the professional.  Mommy can't wait until the next performance!

Grace's Birthday

We went to Grace's birthday party at her house right after school got out.  I love to watch her interact with her friends.

Another visit from Elsa!  Happy Birthday, Grace!

Last day of Kindergarten

I can't believe Kaitlyn is done with Kindergarten.  She grew up so much this year.  I am continually amazed at how well she has done.  She learned to read!  She knows all of her popcorn words and can count like a champ.  She made friends and really loved to go to school.  Mrs. Churn definitely seemed to have a soft spot for Kaitlyn (who wouldn't?).  What a great year.

Last day, waiting for the bus:

And they sent this picture home from school from her first day.  Wow!  And look, still Peppa!
