Family Photos

We took some photos right before Christmas.  It had been too long and they were offering them at Rainbow.  We got some good one's.  I attached them all so you could get the full experience.  It is a challenge with the kids.  We were told to just keep smiling and they would work on the kids.  The result is I felt like we had frozen, fake smiles... and never 2 girls smiling at once.  At first, Hailey looked downright angry!

We even snuck in a photo or 2 of just us and gave the kids a break.

Towards the end, Hailey started to come around!

But then Kaitlyn stopped cooperating!

But alas, we had some winners!

Fun with the Case's

We spent a lot of time with Aria and Kinzie over the holidays.  The girls are really starting to play well all together.  It is cute and they are always excited to see each other.

And Aria and Kinzie are so nice to let Kaitlyn and Hailey share their new toys.

And look - they even share with each other!

This year we spent New Year's at the Case's and had a lot of fun.

Karen even started the girls playing Ring Around the Rosie

That was the hit so they played some more!

Good thing we stayed the night!  What a fun way to ring in the new year!

Christmas Part II

We went over the Grandma and Grandpa's in the late afternoon on Christmas to open MORE presents! It was fun this year watching them both so into the opening process.  I can't believe how big our girls are getting!

Santa Came

Santa was good to the girls this year.  Take a look at these hauls!

Here are the girls playing with the gifts they asked for - a tent (Hailey) and a violin (Kaitlyn).  Thank goodness for Amazon as Santa was able to get these gifts ordered last minute after all of the other shopping was done.

Here Hailey is playing with a gift she got the night before when we went the Case's house.  The theme of this Christmas was definitely Frozen!

The violin is pretty cool.  If you pull the bow across the strings songs will start playing!  I have no idea where she learned about violins!  What a smile!

And Hailey is sporting her new Frozen slippers - what a cutie!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve morning, Scott, Russell and Logan came over to open up presents.  Grandma and Grandpa were there too to witness the fun and we ate some breakfast too.  The kids loved getting into their gifts.  It was a great start to the holiday

Look at the surprise and excitement (awe) in this girl's face!

Logan and crew gave Kaitlyn a jewelry making kit and that kept the girls busy that afternoon making masterpieces!
