Random cuteness

Halloween

What a cute Hello Kitty and her little chicky sister. We were super excited that Kaitlyn put on a costume this year. The neighbors across the street had a little gathering in the driveway. The girls enjoyed hanging out and Kaitlyn got to make a few friends that she was interested in following around trick-or-treating. I really wasn't prepared when we left and forgot her bag for candy. Since she doesn't eat candy I didn't think she would even be interested. But she was following the kids up to the houses and a couple of times she even took the candy. All was well and good until Kaitlyn had to go potty so we had to run home. A success!

Kaitlyn's 4th Birthday

Last week was Kaitlyn's birthday. I can't believe she's four already. I think she really had a good time at school on her birthday and at daycare too. The teacher said the kids sang her happy birthday at least four times.  When I arrived to pick her up, this is what she looked like.

On Saturday we went bowling with all of the grandparents. I think Kaitlyn really got a kick out of bowling with her grandpas.

Afterwards, we went back to the house for lunch, cupcakes and presents. While Kaitlyn still had no desire to eat a cupcake, Hailey sure enjoyed hers!

And my favorite part about it all was that she really got into opening her presents. So for the first time we really got to see her get excited and rip off the paper.

It was a great birthday!

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday Kaitlyn's class at Rainbow went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch. It was quick but she enjoyed herself and was very well behaved. Mommy loved seeing her have fun.

They were doing face painting. The 2 kids in front of her got their hands painted instead so Kaitlyn wanted to check it out. Unfortunately she only got 1 stripe done before she hopped up. I'm not sure if she lost interest or if she didn't like it.
