Cute Pics

Puppet show at the Library

Look at how grown-up Kaitlyn looks in this shirt that Grandpa Aitken bought her  This is the first time in a LONG time that she has worn just a plain shirt.  And it was a cute one - lots of compliments!

Storytime at Grandma's

Magik Theater and Hemisfair Park

On Saturday we went to the Magik Theater with Kaitlyn's friend Grace and her family.  We saw Roxabox.  None of us had ever seen it but it was pretty cute.  Afterwards we went to the Hemisfair Park.  It is pretty newly renovated and it was awesome. Then dinner at PF Changs.  What a fun day!

Where has the time gone?

MLK Day Fun

MLK Day was a school holiday and Rainbow is also closed so I took off and had fun with the girls.  We went to McDonald's for lunch and some fun on the playground.  Then we headed to Main Event for some games.  We finished the day at the new Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins that opened by our house.  K had a donut and H had ice cream.  Win, win!

Here are the girls playing shooting games.  Even Hailey was pretty good!  This one actually shot ping pong balls at the screen - it was pretty cool.  Ghostbusters!

Kaitlyn asked me to buy carrots a the store the day before and had been walking around carrying this carrot.  Then she won a stuffed Snoball (from Secret Life of Pets) so she was feeding the carrot to him!

Donuts are her favorite!  Even Snoball got a seat!

Ice cream for this one.... takes after her daddy!

The Return of Gymnastics

Kaitlyn started back at the Kinetic Kids gymnastics class.  We go on Sunday nights and she is having a blast!

Earrings

These girls got an Elena of Avalor dress-up set for Christmas and were all about the earrings that came with it.  So cute!

Impromptu Chuck E Cheese

The first Friday in January I took the girls to Chuck E Cheese.  I was surprised to see that Kaitlyn has gotten pretty good at some of the games.  She really likes the shooting games.  I guess that is from her field trips at the Village over the summer

Happy New Year

We had the whole crew over for New Year's Eve.  It was the end of weeks of activities so I think the girls were all pretty tired.  But we still had some good times. Oh... and I got a selfie stick!

Mommy, take my picture!  The girls can be quite the hams these days.  Here are a few cute photos.

Hailey enjoyed putting this puzzle together at Aria and Kinzie's.  She is all about the puzzles these days and she is very good at it!

Cute pigtail braids from the teachers at Rainbow.

They colored this together.  Both of them have also been into coloring these days.

And sitting by the masterpiece - H helped me put together this Shopkins Lego set.

Christmas Morning and Christmas Eve

Santa was good to the girls this year.  The girls slept super late (at least they let us sleep super late!).  Here was the before picture.  We still had quite a few other gifts under the tree for friends.  The piles out to the front are for the girls.

The Gecko Mobile she asked Santa for!

Grandma and Aunt Deanna came over on Christmas Eve (Grandpa had to work).  Look at this sweet photo of Deanna and K playing catch!

The girls were super excited to open the presents! Lots of games, Elena of Avalor, and Shopkins.

And here they are later that evening playing with these cool drawing pad/tablets that Grandma got them.
