Christmas Break!

I went to Kaitlyn's party at Hardy Oak. She wanted to leave with me right after and we had to stop and take this picture. Doesn't this just scream - hooray, we are on Christmas break!

 

Santa

While we were at the JW the girls saw Santa. It was a victory this year because we got both girls to sit on their laps. That's a first for us. Hailey asked Santa for an Owl Glider and Kaitlyn asked for a Catboy car. 

Staycation

We went and stayed at the JW Marriott with the girls and Karen and Brentton. We went last year and it is fun to see all the Christmas decorations and activities. 

On Saturday morning the girls built snowmen in the sand!

Brentton made the mistake of offering to do the helicopter with all the girls. Kaitlyn gives him a run for his money! Good thing he's younger 😜

 

What a great weekend

Christmas at Rainbow

Hailey had a Christmas party at Rainbow. It was in the gym so Kaitlyn got to come and see her sing and do some motions to the songs. Kaitlyn went right up to the front so she could video and take pictures.  But I didn't get any pictures of us at all. We were on our way right after to our staycation. 

 
 

Thanksgiving at Rainbow

I want to eat Thanksgiving lunch at Rainbow with Hailey. You can tell she loves having me there but she wasn't too interested in eating the food. After we ate they sang a song. So cute

 

This and That

Hailey has been enjoying hanging out with daddy while he is on the computer. She found this quiet place underneath. 

This is the picture that she will kill me for when she's older. But I couldn't resist. She took off her PJs one morning before school and got distracted before she got dressed. 

We did family photos in November and she wasn't very smiley. But then we went to lunch right after and she was all smiles.

On Thanksgiving the girls set up a picnic for all of the Hello Kitty's. So cute.

We went to the Magik theater and saw a Christmas play. The girls really enjoyed it. We went with a bunch of Mocaa moms and their kids to a sensory friendly performance.

This poor girl got strep. The good news is we caught it kind of early and she was feeling better pretty soon after she started her meds.

Dance Recital

Hailey had her second dance recital a few weeks ago. It was a super col dday and the set up was a little different this time. It was more of a festival and people came and went. She did good and is such a cutie. They dance to Good Time by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Kaitlyn Seven-year Well Visit

Kaitlyn weighed 49.6 pounds and was 47.5 inches tall at her doctor's appointment right before Thanksgiving.

The Pumpkin Patch

I was a chaperone for Hailey's field trip to the pumpkin patch this year. I did that for Kaitlyn a few years ago so it was nice to do it again. 

Hailey and the kids had fun. They got their faces painted and played in a tub of corn. (I don't think Hailey appreciated the corn very much.) They ran through a corn maze and had storytime. It was a great day!
