I've blinked and it is almost November. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? In September, Eric and I went for a long weekend in Vegas and Shelley watched the girls. She is Kaitlyn's current teacher at Rainbow but has been watching the girls since last year. Needless to say, I don't think the girls missed us much. Shelley kept them busy.
They started off Saturday at Starbucks for breakfast. Notice H is wearing piggy tails.
Then they went to a Bounce House place. K was hooked because she found her favorite Hello Kitty.
Looks like H's hair has gone from pigtails to a pony tail....
Yummy... cookies!
Then they went to the fire station (her boyfriend is a fireman). The girls got to check out a fire truck!
They even went to the park, where now her wild curls are flying free :)
And what is this? A library? Looks like they were reading very nicely.
Here are some more pics of what we have been up to the last couple of months. Here is Hailey at Grandma and Grandpa's. Silly girl likes to crash into the dog bed.
And it was WWE one night. I think Hailey was winning!
Kaitlyn being silly in a fire hat.
This girl was looking super cute in her Longhorn gear.
And while it is still pretty warm outside, this picture is from early September. It is probably the last time we were in our suits.
This one isn't interested in using the potty for anything other than a hat. Good thing we have never used that potty.
And these 2 have their moments where they actually share... it is almost magical.
H has been interested in putting her clothes on. Which means she will put on shorts or pants over what she is already wearing. This day was already funny because we had a little cold snap and the girls wanted to wear their jackets constantly!
Followed by more days of shorts. How cute is this girl?
And look, Hailey is helping Kaitlyn fasten her shoes. H is really good at threading the strap.
This was at her 2 year well check up. New doctor and H is in full "stanger danger" mode. Not a fun visit - poor girl. But how precious is she here playing with my necklace?
