And by the way - yes, Kaitlyn is wearing a mask too! She got that out of a goody bag from the party we went to on Saturday. She wore them the entire time at the library.

Library Fun
I picked up the girls from daycare today and we went to the library. I picked up an audio book and the girls picked out a few books. Then on the way out Hailey saw the puppets and they wanted to check it out. Cuteness!

Another Kiddie Park Party
On Saturday, Jackson celebrated his 4th birthday at the Kiddie Park. Jackson has an older brother, Gunner that is Kaitlyn's age, so the family was nice enough to invite Kaitlyn to come to the party too. Gunner goes to Hardy Oak Elementry too. The girls had a great time and it was a beautiful day.
And then she did this! She was all alone on the Ferris wheel!
Kaitlyn loved riding the rides. Here she had no qualms about riding in the boat with a girl she didn't know.

Pigtails
So she didn't like them (I guess it was heavy heavy and felt a little weird) but doesn't she look like me?

First Day of Purple Room
When did Hailey grow up? She had her first day in the Purple room today - Pre-K! I am relieved that she is in there with a few of her buddies - like Jacie and Tatum. She was so excited this morning. (Hair courtesy of Eric.... But let's be real, it looks like that most days. Hahaha)
First Day of First Grade
Kaitlyn was super excited to go back to school today. Last week she didn't want to go to the Village because she wanted to go to school! That is so good to hear.

Last Weekend of Summer Break
Rainbow closes for 2 days at the end of summer to transition to new classes for the fall, so we headed to the coast. We waited to leave town on Thursday night after Kaitlyn's Meet the Teacher, so we got a little stir crazy at the house. But we got a great selfie in.
I was nice enough to share my Yeti koozie with the girls. Aren't I a great mom?
And the trip was a success because the girls were tired out on the way home and Kaitlyn even slept! I can't remember the last time she slept in the car!
Here are all the girls headed to the pool!
Meet the Teacher
It was Meet the Teacher night on Thursday so we went and met Kaitlyn's First Grade Teacher, Mrs. York. First grade?!?! The teacher won me over already because she knew Kaitlyn already and greeted her by name. I have heard great things so we are excited.
Bowling
Last Sunday it was raining so we decided to take the girls bowling. It had been awhile since we have bowled as a family.
What a fun day at the bowling alley!
Fun with the Case's
We had the Case's over for dinner last Friday after we all spent some time at the pool.
