The girls got great use out of their costumes this year. Kaitlyn was Bat Girl and Hailey was a Princess Fairy. The first time they wore their costumes was a Special Reach party. Special Reach is this great organization which provides social opportunities for children with Special Needs and their siblings. There are Friday night parties once a month at a nearby church and the girls LOVE to go.
The 2nd time they wore their costumes was the Boo Walk at the library. There is music, carnival type games and lots of fun to be had. In spite of all of that special activity, they always want to stop and visit the playground on the way. Hahaha.
And the 3rd time they wore the costumes was on Halloween night. I surprised them by dressing up as Princess Leia. It rained a bit so we didn't walk around too long. And I think by the time we went Trick-or-Treating - they were all Halloweened out!
