Then we went upstairs to the Airplane. Big surprise - her favorite part of that was the stairs! But she did enjoy looking at herself in the mirror.
After that, she found the full stairs and went all the way down (it was a ton of stairs - at least 1 1/2 flights)! She was on a mission!
After that, we went downstairs where they had an HEB market set up. The kiddos could go down the aisles and load up their baskets with items and then ring them up on the cash register. The best part here, was Kaitlyn pushed the cart a few feet! That was the first time I've seen her push something.
Kaitlyn picked up a can of tuna and walked all over the floor with it. The kid finds the strangest things to play with!
She then carried her can of tuna over to the life-size chess board. She was so cute walking up to the pieces. They were just as tall as her! You could tell she thought it was a little weird - she kinda pushed the pieces a bit to see what would happen.
We tried to pose for a picture. She didn't want me to stop her from running around, so the picture was a bit blurry.
We then went to the toddler area, which had to be my favorite part. It is for kids from 0-3 years old. Shoes come off and there was a fixed area where she could just run around and play. At last we could relax and just watch them play. Kaitlyn really liked pushing the buttons on this bubble exhibit. The button lit up, which was her favorite. Actually though, you could change what the water looked like! But she didn't care about that.
They had some "funny mirrors" which made things look wacky. Kaitlyn spent a lot of time in that area. Can you see her expression in the mirror! Happy girl!
