Eric and I stayed at the JW Marriott this weekend for our version of a "staycation." Eric's mom not only watched Kaitlyn for us, but she and Kaitlyn joined us for some fun on Saturday morning at the pool. Kaitlyn had fun - the pool was set up great for her. She likes her independence and she was able to play around in the water without us. Of course, she kept wandering towards the deeper parts of the kiddie pool and towards the end she wanted to wander away to other areas. But all in all, we had fun!
The fountains caught her off guard a couple of times. Here she wandered too close to the water spout and got it in her face:
This one was too good - a close up of her expression. Look at the shock!
Here she is with her dada, high stepping it in the water. She did a really good job of walking and keeping her balance:
This little girl was very interested in Kaitlyn and looked to be close in age. But Kaitlyn wasn't too interested in making friends.
She is very brave (overconfident) in the water. She kept lurching forward. I couldn't tell if she was falling, or if she was trying to swim. Either way, it made me nervous!
