She loves her horsey. He sits on top of her bed but she asks for him to come down. She has been cuddling with him and riding him around the house. Such a silly girl.
Kaitlyn brought this book to Hailey and she looked like she was actually reading it. But two seconds later she stuck the book in her mouth and tried to eat it.
We have started to put Hailey in the bath with Kaitlyn. It provides a nice distraction and they both seem to enjoy it. Here Kaitlyn was showing Hailey her crayon. Two seconds after this picture, she dropped it on Hailey's head. Hailey didn't even cry!
Last week they did a 50's dress up day at daycare. I didn't have much for Hailey to wear. All I could muster was bobby socks and a flower headband (flower power??? Is that even the right decade?). The 80's legwarmers were a nice touch.
I was off Good Friday and the daycare was closed. So I got to spend the day with the girls. We started off with matching outfits. And look, Hailey is even wearing a headband!
More of Hailey showing off her bow.
She has gotten good at rolling. She doesn't go all the way over every time, but she has gotten really good at reaching and grabbing things.
And here was Kaitlyn quietly playing with her tablet on the couch under her "blankies." This was the calm before the storm...
And how cute is this? Totally impromptu - just laid down on the stairs and I was fortunate enough to have my phone handy to snap some photos.
And a Hailey and Mommy self portrait. We were sitting on the back porch. I brought a blanket outside but the grass was wet so we didn't sit down. Hailey really liked being able to see herself while we took the picture.
Sweet Potatoes for the first time this weekend (cereal, peaches, and now sweet potatoes). She had her hands all over the place. In her mouth and then to her eye and then on the chair... Messy!
This was Saturday at Alamo Cafe. It was a gorgeous afternoon and Kaitlyn really enjoyed running around on the patio. There was a bratty boy who stuck stick in her face. We were fortunate that her glasses blocked it. I don't think it would have been a horrible injury, but there definitely would have been tears!
And this was tonight. She was coloring using my pen... with her left hand. What gets pen out of sheets??
And then she switched to her right hand. She enjoys playing with pens much more than plain old crayons.
