Library Fun

On Tuesdays we go to the library.  The girls like to play on the computers and here Hailey is doing a puppet show.

They play on the playground... that is if the mosquitoes don't eat us alive!  Look at these sweaty girls!

Bike Rodeo

Kaitlyn got to have an impromptu bike rodeo experience a few weeks ago.  I volunteered to help out but didn't sign her up.  We haven't gotten her a bike and she didn't show any interest (of course, I didn't even ask her!).  I was being an ostrich, for sure!  Ms. York called me while I was there because Kaitlyn was super upset.  She kept saying her bike was there.  I was unable to comfort her and Camilia's mom was super sweet and offered to have her ride Camilia's bike.  I was amazed at how well she did!

Look at how proud she is!  We have some work to do for next year!

Sleepy Girls

So apparently all of this fun we have been having has tired out these girls.  One day before school these girls just didn't want to get up!  It was pretty cute!

Tiffany's Birthday Party

We went to Tiffany's birthday party last weekend and were amazed.... a full petting zoo including a giraffe!

Hailey was timid and wanted nothing to do with the animals.  But she wanted me to touch them and agreed to this picture.

And there was a kangaroo too!

The Kona Ice truck was there and they had a bouncy house.  And look at the party favor - a large giraffe stuffed animal and candy too.

Man.... it's tough keeping up with the Jones' these days! Good thing we aren't going to try!

Fun at Grandma's

We have been going over to see Grandma in the evenings.  Sometimes Grandpa is there too!  This was last week - Grandma got some really great hugs.  Hailey is usually really stingy... so it was awesome!

And look - Grandma got a new puppy!  So cute and the girls loved playing with her.

Monday Night Fun

We have been going to the HEB restaurant, Oaks Crossing, on Mondays.  It started because they have $3 burgers on the Monday after a Cowboy's win (and they have been winning!).  They do trivia there and we have enjoyed listening to the questions and the girls are enjoying running around and playing with the other kids.  Not to mention the fact that the weather has been cooler so it is more comfortable to sit outside.

This kitty has been there every week!  And yesterday, the kitty had a friend!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today I accompanied Hailey on her class' field trip to the Pumpkin Patch.  I guess there is one advantage to not working!

They all got their faces painted.  Such a cute kitty!

Columbus Day at the Condo

This weekend we took advantage of the 3 day weekend with school and headed to the coast!  

It was a little cold, so it was hard to get this one out of the golf cart.

And on Saturday, I was fortunate to be able to stream the Texas OU game while we were at the pool (happy anniversary of the first day we met, Eric)!

This was Hailey the last night.  She fell asleep on the couch with the IPad on top of her!  Poor girl!  Needless to say she woke up for a few minutes and we put her to bed early.  So cute!!

National Night Out

Tuesday was National Night Out so I took the girls to the neighborhood celebration. The girls had fun bouncing and running around. I talked to a few MoCAA moms. Otherwise I ignored all of the neighbors. Lol.
