Fall is in the Air

Kaitlyn requested her hair like this and I was shocked. Even better - she lasted with it the whole day. Such a cutie.

A new Sonic opened up by my parent's house so the girls enjoyed getting slushies. Kaitlyn is so funny because she insists she likes them but it usually takes her hours to get through them.

Look at the loving way Hailey is looking at her sister - so cute.

Hailey's birthday falls right at the beginning of the school year which is a bit challenging. Which friends to invite? This year was probably the hardest since she just started Kinder at a new school. She opted not to invite her entire class so we just invited some people she knew from the Village, along with Aria and Kinzie.  Her party was at Main Event. They bowled and got a card to play a few games after. We were lucky that she made it - she had a fever and missed school on her actual birthday. Poor thing!

Walk to school day! I lucked out and both teachers agreed to meet in the same place to walk as a class. So we could do it all together.  This pic was probably taken right before the sprinklers went off. Yikes. We didn't get too wet but Kaitlyn was definitely annoyed.

We even managed to sneak in a Columbus Day weekend trip to the condo.  How cute is she in Daddy's hat?

This girl has been losing a ton of teeth! Here she is with one hanging on by a thread.

And now, no front teeth!

Here are the girls' Hardy Oak fall photos. Kaitlyn surprised me the morning of picture day and asked to wear a dress. She hasn't worn so many of the dresses that I bought her, so I stopped buying them! She asked to wear the dress she wore to Shelley's wedding.  That dress was so dressy and I wasn't even sure if it would fit. So I pulled out this one that she wore last Christmas for our family photos. It was a hit! Note to self: have a dress picked out for next time!

3rd Grade:

Hailey asked for a bun that day.... but you can't even see it with the angle of the camera.
